I reread my older blog posts just now, and I just received so much encouragement. For those of you wondering where I have been the last almost 2 weeks, I have been wallowing.

The Lord has blessed me with a sensitive heart. A heart that is very sensitive towards him and his will. However, I use this blessing wrongly. I let Satan trap me in my mind and thoughts. Satan is literally that devil advocate on your shoulder telling you what you did wrong and encouraging you to keep on doing it. He is the one that twists God’s truth into lies so well, that you start to believe. But friends, do you know why we believe Satan’s lies so much? Because we don’t read the bible to seek the truth (at least in my case). Satan’s lies counteract our (my) beliefs because we’re (I’m) not in God’s word to be rooted in them. I am a flower withering because I am not being fed properly. I am starving myself to death!

God is the bread and water of life (John 6:35)! I am choosing to starve myself in order to please man! And when I say man, I do not mean just men, but rather people, myself or something/someone else. I have put all my hope, trust, and possessions  into this world, instead of into God. That is why I keep getting discouraged, wallowing and seeking something to fill a void. I am seeking joy, comfort, love, peace, etc. in all places except from the place I know I can receive it. Friends why do we do things like this? Why do we try and find an alternative when we know there is ONLY ONE of those like that anywhere? Yes, we may find something similar, but it is not “The one”!

We are not puzzles pieces! We do not need to find out where we fit in this gigantic puzzle of life. We don’t need to force ourselves to fit somewhere we know we don’t belong. Friends, God created each and everyone of us to fit perfectly in his plan. He knows exactly where we are suppose to be and has even given us a helper to guide us – The Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit is never wrong, and when he tells you something then you need to do it (Believe me I know it won’t happen every time, but it should be as simple as that).

Don’t be discouraged friends. The devil is a lier! Don’t believe the lies he has told you. God had, has and always will have you! No sin you commit will ever stop Christ from loving you. No matter how many times you deny him, he will still be there with open arms to embrace you. You can question him and his plan, be angry with him and even doubt him, but he will always be there for you, willing to fight for you. GOD LOVES YOU!

Take a look at Colossians 2 in order to receive a better understanding of what I just discussed.

I wrote this awhile back, and as you read remember who you are and who you belong to.

“God always reminds me of who I am — I am truly myself when I am with him and he’s with me (which he always is). He directs me and convicts me in even the slightest way. The only way I can truly be me is to keep God the center and focus of my heart. Fellowship and fruitful conversations truly help reveal and uproot the real matters of the heart, and that’s why you should never replace time with Christ and his church for temporal reasons. For then you’ll start living for you in the moment, instead of living for God for eternal life.”

Stay Blessed!
