A Little Deeper

Hey y’all,

I am going to go a little deeper into the meaning of “Enchanted women”.

God calls us to be women (men) of God and not women (men) of the world. We are uniquely designed with a specific and special gift(s). We were crafted in our mother’s womb even before time. Every hair on our head was counted. Every detail greatly accounted for. We were thought of before the world was even created. When a mother watches her child grow, everything that child does and encompasses is fascinating. Not even the greatest of mothers would sit and count the number of hairs on their child’s head, it’s impossible. When we are in Christ, we become his sons and daughters; we become foreigners to the world. Therefore, how can we love this world and the perishable things in it? How can we forgo eternal life, for worldly possessions. God’s love for us is FAR greater than we could ever imagine!

We were all created in God’s image until sin entered the world. Therefore brothers and sisters, NO ONE IS PERFECT, so how can we compare? Are we comparing flaws or sins; how can we? How foolish are we to think one is better or less than the other. Have you looked in the mirror? You see a beautiful creation (Yes, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL), but internally there lays a wretched heart aching to be apart of something- aching to know the love expressed through fairy tales. Our hearts long to find their identity or purpose. When all along, our identity is who we are in Christ. We are God’s sons and daughters, and he sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

“Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”

I pray that we all discover the true love that our hearts desire, that way we may find our purpose and identity.

Love someone more than you love yourself.
